INFORMATION ON OUR CATTERY

Our breeding program focuses on health, soundness, temperament and conformation.  Our foundation cats came from the exceptional HillstBlues cattery and we continue to work with these bloodlines as well as others to refine our type and conformation.  We raise all 4 colors of Abyssinians lovingly underfoot in our home environment to best prepare them for new homes as affectionate pets.  Our specialty is to raise kittens with personalities that suit families of all kinds - from quiet adult environments  to homes with children and dogs. Affectionate, outgoing personalities are our main focus.   All our kittens are health tested, vaccinated and health guaranteed.  While we have actively shown our cats to at least Championship in either Tica or CFA, due to the health risks present at shows, we limit our cat's exposure to these events.  We can ship to your nearest airport within the continental US and welcome inquiries.  Email us for more information about available kittens.

INFORMATION ON THE BREED

The Abyssinian’s soft, sleek, glossy ticked coat comes in a variety of shades including Red, Ruddy, Blue and Fawn.  The Aby is a friendly, affectionate, intelligent and outgoing cat, capable of learning a variety of tricks.  Your first impression is that you are looking at an ancient Egyptian cat.  The Aby’s body is medium long, fine boned, but with well developed muscular strength.  The Aby gives an instant impression of lithe and grace, with long, slim legs, giving the illusion of standing on tiptoe.  The head is a modified, slightly rounded wedge, with gentle contours.  The Abyssinian is a lively and active cat.  Many Abys love water and are friendly to strangers.  Be prepared to provide plenty of interactive play for an Abyssinian cat and you will be rewarded with lifetime loyalty.  If you have energy, humor, and zest for life, an Aby might become your best friend.  If you are looking for an excellent family pet, an Abyssinian kitten is a great choice.
